Working too hard
Today was just a hard day. Granted, none of the things that I do was forced upon me, and this isn’t done in a war-torn region… okay, never mind. I was a wimp today. I biked in the morning to school, about 14 miles in a 23 degrees weather (Fahrenheit, people. That means you have to subtract 32 and then multiply the product by 5/9 in order to convert to Celsius,) got all sweaty, graded Math A regents all day, got hungry, biked back home in the dark (4 flashing lights and a vest, oh yeah, you don’t screw around with this stuff when you gotta weave in and out of traffic in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn,) and just as climbing up a very low gradient hill from the 5th avenue to Prospect Park West on the 3rd Street in Park Slope, I bonked. What the hell!
